It’s time to don your helmets, grab some colleagues/contacts/friends /family members and put a team together to #pedalforthefactory…
Teams are now available in The Factory Youth Zone Cycle Sportive – 104km across the Cheshire countryside all in aid of The Factory Youth Zone on 1st September 2017.
With the route planned by Haute Rouleurs, it promises to be a fantastic day allowing teams to get out of the office and onto the roads for a unique day out – whether it’s team building or networking – join us to take on the challenge and raise funds for The Factory.
Money raised from The Factory Youth Zone’s cycle ride helps to raise the aspirations of young people in North Manchester – The Factory continues to be vital in the current social and economic context, where young people in the poorest neighbourhoods of Manchester have become more isolated from the city’s growing prosperity.
For £500 a team, we are inviting teams of up to 5 people to take part, with cyclists meeting at Bowdon Rugby Club at 11am for a briefing from Haute Rouleurs and returning for a BBQ and celebration event at the end. Further details including the route can be found here
We aren’t setting sponsorship targets – team entry fees help pay for the safe running of the event and anything additional goes towards the total raised for The Factory. However, this is a sponsored event, we ask that teams invite friends and families to sponsor them generously to take on the challenge. (As a guideline, if every team raises £250 in sponsorship – we will hit our target for the event and continue to be able to make a difference to young lives in Manchester).
